We've been traveling to Bonaire for well over 20 years. Here's brief travel tips to keep in mind:
Generally speaking, we've found that most people will over-pack in the clothing department. The attire on Bonaire is casual. A good rule of thumb is to take half of what you think you'll need.
Bonaire's intense sun is almost equatorial. Please be sure to bring (and use) adequate sun guard protection. Don't let a bad sunburn ruin your vacation!
Also, when dining, be sure to ask for the bill when you're ready to leave. Generally speaking, restaurants on Bonaire do not wish to hurry you through a dinner, and thus will not present you with a bill until you request it.
